Please Know...

As I come to know these fine people, they share with me more of their personal and sensitive stories. Their collective story is what I am trying to share with you as my way of breaking the stereotypical beliefs that exist. "Blog names" have occasionally been given to me by the person whose story I am telling. Names are never their actual names and wherever I can do so, I might use the opposite pronoun (his/her, etc.) just to help increase their privacy.

Throughout this blog you are now seeing advertising. I need to provide this so as to keep going financially with this ministry. If you see something that is inappropriate to this site, please let me know - maybe get a screen shot of it for me. I do get credit for any "click" that you might make on any of the ads. If you're bored some night and want to help me raise some needed cash, visit my site and click away to your heart's content....

Amazon Wish List

As you know, water and bananas are my biggest giveaway items with each visit to Kensington.  Because of their size, weight, and shelf life, I buy them on my way into the city each time.  For this, I do need a steady flow of financial donations to keep going.

Please see my Ministry Funding Options page for ways to send funds.

Some people would rather buy items for my outreach efforts rather than provide funding.  Whatever is most comfortable for you is fine with me.

To help you know what is needed most, I have created this Amazon wish list.

Generally speaking, items toward the top of the list are my higher priority items based on usage or how close I may be to running out of that item.

If you have any questions about this, please contact me.

Thank you for considering this way of support.

  1. Thank you for sharing this with us. I am a parent to and an ex-wife (widow) of two very special people who suffer and suffered from substance abuse and mental health diagnoses.I have spent so long watching and experiencing the injustices and broken systems that kill and institutionalize so many people that I am grateful to have found resources like yours to read and know I am not alone in noticing these horrors.
